Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a steel gray irregular shaped heptagon 3 1/8 inches (7.94 cm) in height and 2 3/4 inches (6.99 cm) in width, a gray demi-sphere issuing from base with black gridlines, below a gray horizontal sword, point to the left, the blade emitting three stylized red flames edged orange all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) orange border.
Steel gray is the color traditionally associated with the Cyber branch. Orange is the color used by Signal units. The combination of the two branches symbolize the missions foreign and domestic. The heptagon represents the basis of the seven Army warfighting functions and the support provided by the Cyber Center. The gridlined demi-sphere denotes the Cyber Center of Excellence sustainment of the Armys global operations. The sword suggests both the defensive and offensive nature of Army Cyber duties. The flames signify the everlasting guiding light for training and knowledge.

On a black irregular heptagon shaped silver metal and epoxied device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height, an orange seven-pointed star, overall a silver sword erect, displaying on the hilt an orange flame. Attached below the shield a Black scroll doubled Orange bearing the inscription IN HAC ACTIO in Silver.
The shape of the shield is adapted from the shoulder sleeve insignia and represents the seven Army warfighting functions and support proved by the Cyber Center. The silver metal alludes to the Cyber branchs color of Steel Gray. The color black suggests cyberspace. Orange is associated with Signal units. The star is a symbol of excellence, action, and reflects the seven sides and attributes of the shield. The sword signifies both the offensive and defensive capabilities of Army Cyber operations. The flame provides the everlasting guiding light of training and knowledge. The motto IN HAC ACTIO translates to Excellence in Action.
The distinctive unit insignia was authorized on 4 April 2017.
